Pathogens like bacteria and viruses enter the body thru breaks in your skin, or when they find a rich environment for their development like in clogged pores, within the hair follicles (acne diseases).
As they get access to the blood stream they cause an increased immunological reaction reaction. This activity interrupts the mend and process of healing of skin that has been damaged or is affected by acne scars, and interferes the ordinary lay down of your skin cells.
